My mother wrote me an email this afternoon trying to persuade me to "be nice to my new coworkers and let them get used to me." Let them get used to me. I wrote her back and asked if she were perhaps implying they might need to develop some antibodies; what amuses me is she's going to write me back and say that was precisely what she meant, because that's the kind of thing my mother says. Funny stuff.
